Lily Ranger

Lily Ranger is an audio engineer specializing in live sound. She will receive her B.A. in Music Technology from Montana State University in May 2026.

Originally from Glide, Oregon, Lily developed a deep appreciation for music at a young age. This passion led her to become a multi-instrumentalist, with a focus on euphonium throughout her collegiate career.

Lily has experience in studio recording, live sound, live-streamed performances, sound design, and post-production. She has composed electronic and chamber works, scored student films, and contributed to concert production through equipment management and technical support.

One of Lily’s most significant professional experiences was working as an Audio Engineering Intern at the Bravo! Vail Music Festival, where she worked with world-renowned ensembles including the New York Philharmonic, Dallas Symphony Orchestra, Philadelphia Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra of Europe, and Sinfónica de Minería during the festival’s large scale orchestral season.

In addition to her technical work, Lily has performed with the Montana State Wind Symphony and Low Brass Ensemble and served on the leadership team for the Spirit of the West Marching Band.

Lily is passionate about collaborative music-making and enjoys working with artists and organizations to explore the creative possibilities of sound.
